When someone invites you for a mid-week getaway to Halcyon House. You say hell yes!
Well at least that’s what I did when Bear Journal asked me to come along to their launch in Byron Bay. With a little stay-cay at Halcyon House in beautiful Cabarita thrown in for good measure.
The entire event was so consciously put together, with a cohesive theme and effortless feel. Which after planning my wedding last year, I know it takes a hell of a lot of effort to create.
From the poolside bliss at Halcyon, kombi excursions to an insanely beautiful home in Newrybar (p.s. I’m moving in by the way). To beautifully crafted cocktails and a gin workshop with Brookie’s Gin to dinner under the stars.
Pair that with good company i.e. the masterminds behind it all Saasha and Sam. Oh and my personal dream girl Kit Willow, creative extraordinaire behind my favourite sustainability focused label KitX.
