If you know me, you know I’m generally all about keeping things simple and timeless, as much as possible. Given we all like to be a little more adventurous and playful from time to time.
So thats where I think elevated classics can play such a key role in your wardrobe. Pieces that you can still wear again and again. That maintain the essence of timelessness, but also have an edge.
At least that was what was going through my head when I spotted this top from Significant Other. A more playful take on your classic white tailored shirt, but also still very wearable and versatile within your wardrobe. Of course, pairs perfectly with denim. Which is essentially the “must-have” requirement of almost every piece in my closet.
As that saying goes, the devil is in the details. So I think when looking for those timeless pieces like a classic white shirt, or basic singlet or tee, it can be nice to have some unexpected detailing. Be that a simple cut out or open back, a gathered sleeve, or a nice buckle detail. Something that makes an understated statement.
