DENIM, ALWAYS.

Spring is in the air. Like literally... That pollen is flying everywhere in the air right now and even though I have never had hayfever ever before in my life, I have been suffering big time... Hayfever really is the worst.

Hence why sunglasses have recently become my favourite accessory purely on the basis that they hide my puffy, watery eyes and provide protection, if only in my mind, from incoming hay-fever-aggrivator particles.

But pollen agitations aside, spring is an exciting time. Those florals are blooming, nature seems to come more alive after its winter hibernation. The temperature starts to rise and all those light layers get dragged back out from the closet.

But spring also has an edge, a cold one, it sneaks back in to surprise you every now and then. Its like it dangles summer right in front of you in all its glory, and then slaps you in the face with it. And whilst this is sometimes a trialling experience, I don't mind as I'm such a denim girl, I'll take any cold snap as a chance to relish in my favourite jeans - the ultimate, never-fail effortless outfit.

My penchant for wearing jeans incessantly does have its draw backs, particularly when you get caught out in 30 degree heat and you spend the entire time regretting my earlier decision. But I think i have a problem, an unhealthy addiction/love affair if you wiil... case in point - I packed around 10 pairs of jeans for my summer in Byron Bay (including these M&E babies). 10 pairs, for a time of year where its unlikely I'll even wear jeans very often at all.

Thankfully Maurie & Eve have saved me with these lightweight denim babies. Softer than your average denim (in the best kind of way) and definitely a lot more forgiving should you misjudge the weather.
