KARISSA IN THE MIDI-LE.

I must say, I would be quite impressed if you got my Malcom in the Middle reference from the title of this post. It’s vague but its there. My fiance and I went on a huge binge watch revisiting this ridiculously awesome show last year.

Nothing makes me happier than a piece of clothing is versatile. Especially a transitional piece that can bef taken from summer to winter… Or at least autumn depending on where in the world you live.

The midi length trend has been around for awhile, but at times it can feel like a tricky style to work… Particularly for those of us not born with a whole lotta height.

One way I’ve found around this, is to find a midi length piece that has a split up the front (side also works well). A strategically placed split is enough to break up a length that can easily look more nan than glam…

Enter this midi length dress from Beachgold. The aforementioned front split softens the look (and allows for some serious Angela Jolie moments) and I adore the little edge they’ve given to the traditional stripe.

Sneakers are for all-round comfort, but of course this style works well paired with some boots of either a thigh-high or ankle variety, for a more night-time look.
