If one could summarise summer in one outfit, I think it would look a lot like this.
Denim, wave print… awkward tan lines from my necklaces I was wearing when I fell asleep in the sun…
I talk a lot about building a timeless wardrobe (and will only be talking more of this). And as much as this is what I’m working towards, that’s not to say I’m opposed to a statement piece or statement print or two. The key is finding the right print that will stay timeless (to some degree) for you.
For some girls it’s florals… for me.. its waves.
The wave print, somewhat minimalist, somewhat resembling the timeless stripe but with an edge. And I never need look any further than these beautiful hand-drawn designs by my girl Lottie Hall. Lottie Hall is one of my all time favourite local labels – always doing her own thing, creating amazing oceanic inspired pieces that will never leave my wardrobe.
